Today is the beginning of the three day Dallas ComicCon Fan Days 2012! I'll be at the show, trying to get Stan Lee's signature, along with Ethan Van Sciever and others.
We still have some high grade issues of the Walking Dead available, along with some other miscellaneous items, all on ebay right now:

The Hunt
This is a short film I made a couple of years ago. It's pretty low quality and the music sounds a little bit like a seventies porno, but it's lots of fun!

The Collector's Society
I received my welcome packet from the collector's society today. Ironically, it is on the same day as the Aurora Colorado Massacre. Batman is one of the characters that solidified my interest in comic books. My first subscriptions were to Batman and Detective Comics in 1989, right before the first Batman movie came out in theaters.
So now, I can prepare my first two shipments. I'll be posting info about them as they go out and come back from the grading process. Check back with us!

July Auctions
http://www.ebay.com/sch/slabcomics/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3692
We currently have 100 Auctions listed on eBay. These are a lot of random items, but all of the money is going towards our start-up. That means that everything made on this sale will be used to grade comics already on hand. We have signed comics with COA's, TPB's Marx Toys, Trading Card games, an Apple PowerBook, and more. If everything goes we will be able to grade 80+ comics. Thanks again for your support!

Certificate of Authenticity
Someone recently asked me if I would provide a certificate
of authenticity. It wasn't a horrible idea, so I decided to look up more
information about them. Most certificates are only as good as the person who is
issuing the certificates reputation is.
So to let people know, here are some of the things that make
my certificate trustworthy. I learned to read using comic books. My first comic
books were printed when I was only three or four years old. That gives me over
thirty years involved with my hobby.
I began going to conventions in the DFW area starting in
2006. I went to work in 2007 for Lone Star Comics, and managed one of their
eight stores in 2008. Lone Star Comics has eight stores across Dallas
and Fort Worth ,
and their website, mycomicshop.com has the largest online inventory of comic
books around.
Donate $50 and include your address; and I will send you a comic book signed by the artist or writer of that issue. I will include with it a certificate of authenticity that lists the date and location in which the comic book was signed.
We are not currently a nonprofit organization so please be aware of that when making donations, although we do appreciate all of your help and support.

Thank you for visiting us at Slab Comics. Our goal is to
preserve modern comic books, which are key issues, or variant covers of key issues, by
having them graded and added to the National Registry.
For every eighteen dollar donation that we receive, we will
be able to add one comic book to the national registry. Please help us preserve
our history so that future generations can enjoy this uniquely American Art
Form (as described in this Congressional Resolution).

to reading and help children comprehend storylines;

kids narration, dialogue, and visual design;
